AEC #2:  The Right Thing (Jim Kluth, Room 102)

Description:  As adults, we're faced with hundreds of decisions every week.  Some are easy, but others leave us tossing and turning in our sleep or on our knees in prayer.  What's the right thing to do?  In this class, we'll explore the basics of Christian ethics.   We'll discuss the role that the Bible, the Holy Spirit, secular law, and community and personal values play in these decisions. In the Middle of the Mess: Strength for This Beautiful, Broken Life (Jill Hill room 101)

Author, Sheila Walsh, equips women with a practical method for connecting with God’s strength in the midst of struggle. From daily frustrations that can feel like overwhelming obstacles to hard challenges that turn into rock-bottom crises, women will find the means to equip themselves for standing strong with God. Using the spiritual applications of confession, prayer, and meditation on Scripture to form a daily connection to Jesus, women will learn how to experience new joy as a child of God who is fully known, fully loved, and fully accepted.

Books are $10 and available in the Berean lobby beginning Sept. 8 or by calling the church office (507-289-4179)
