Ginnie Mullin currently teaches English to several Japanese families that come to Rochester for various reasons often related to some type of training at Mayo. Ginnie often uses both adult Bibles and children's Bibles to teach her lessons and relies on her experience as a full time missionary and the power of the Holy Spirit to plant seeds of understanding and bridge the cultural differences.

Rochester CareFest provides a great opportunity for the local body of Christ to reach out to our community, demonstrating Jesus' love in tangible and meaningful ways. Our desire is to serve Rochester community-enhancing organizations like the schools, parks, and other people-helping non-profits. Since 2007, Christians in the community have banded together each June to serve throughout Rochester in Jesus Name.
The Berean Outreach Team supports New Life Family Services, an organization in Rochester which counsels people on the sanctity of human life. They compassionately open their doors and hearts to women and men who believe abortion is the "only" solution to an unplanned pregnancy. Through practical and spiritual counseling, they provide education and support with the hope each client will make a life-affirming decision for their unborn child.
Each January baby cribs are placed in the lobby at Berean with tags listing items needed by New Life Family Services. These items include such things as diapers, blankets, postage stamps, etc. Please consider taking one of the tags and replacing it with the needed item.
Camp Victory is a ministry accomplished through an evangelical Christian camping and retreat facility that serves the surrounding community. The ministries and programs are to provide an environment for evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development, through life changing encounters with creation, truth, and caring relationships. The outreach team provides financial support to Camp Victory and many Berean members volunteer at the camp throughout the year. For more information contact one of the outreach leadership team members.
Throughout the year it is our desire to love our neighbors as ourselves. We welcome our neighbors to use our facility and to join us as in other activities as well. Some of these events include the Neighborhood's National Night Out, Fall Festival and a Winter Jazz Fest. It is our desire to come alongside our neighbors and meet their needs as best we can. If you would like to participate or serve in any of these events, please contact Paul or Lynn Larsen.
